Education: Being present, mindful and resilient have been my greatest teachers.

Past Experience: Four plus decades along side the best in the industry gives me great pride.  Highlights include leading and managing server teams in the wildest of weather.  For example a lightning storm in Taos, NM, sweltering heat of 110* in Healdsburg, and my favorite, a beautiful wedding atop the Santa Ynez mountains with the bride and groom laughing and dancing in the mud and rain!  From ‘billionaire row’ in Pacific Heights serving intimate gatherings of those that have made history to outdoor weddings in the elements, and grand events fundraising millions of dollars, I am treasuring this journey!

Greatest professional learning experience: A friend and remarkable colleague once told me to show up prepared for keeping spirits high and supporting positivity no matter the obstacle.  It has proven to be the key of my most successful events.

Favorite guilty pleasure food: Nacho cheese Doritos, and Dr. Pepper remain my not so secret guilty pleasures.

Takes out of town guests to eat at: Out of town friends have been hosted to tastings at Opus One then on down the road to Farmstead, for farm to table deliciousness without the pomp and circumstance.

Recharges by: Nature!  Doing anything or nothing in the beauty of natural fuels me and even better when doing so with the company of my son Quinlan.

Next on travel bucket list: High on my bucket list is scuba diving in Roatan, Honduras.
